This project involved graining the 12 doors on the Deal Staircase at Kenwood House using traditional linseed oil paints that were prepared in our studio.

The reference for the style of oak graining was taken from a door in the Muniments Room at Nostell Priory which still has its original grained finish dating from 1815.
