The mural of Synagoga in the chapel at Crewe Hall was damaged many years ago and painted over.

With the two black and white images available the mural was recreated to sit alongside the painting of Ecclesia on the left hand side of the chancel and the rest of the paintings in the chapel.

A full size cartoon was prepared and the mural was recreated using artists acrylics worked in layers to match the appearance of the surrounding paint finishes.
